CNY Womans Magazine

I have been fortunate enough, the last couple of years, to do some modeling on my free time. I was only doing "Pic's for Trade"..which means the photographer can use the pictures however they want, but I, in return, get to keep the photo's for free.  I was recently featured in the new CNY Womans magazine b/c one of my photographers got hired with them.  I went to their launch Gala, met the editor and about 2 weeks later was asked to be featured again, this time in a full sheet spread, advertising an S.U. store on the "hill".  I was so excited....here's the spread. I can now say that I have modeled & been featured in a magazine!! :)

Good Bye February!

Im really not a fan of winter...AT ALL, so the end of Feb. is pretty awesome for me ;)  We just finished winter break, which was eventful.  Jaidah was excited to go back to school...thats always a good sign ;)  Our business is starting to get busy.  Which is the most exciting of all. Winter months KILL us here, so we always look forward to spring!  Im just so over winter.  I dont know how i ever survived without a garage in the winter.  Didnt have one at the old house, now im all spoiled ;)  I just want to open up the windows and smell fresh cut grass, hear birds chirping and kids laughing!  Not to much happened in Feb. except the count down to March, which we are hoping brings better weather! Oh and Gavin was officially pronounced potty trained this month (that was a highlight for sure)! I guess thats it on this short month :) 

Reunited Family Member

One thing I am very passionate about is family!!  I think that "most" friends are a dime a dozen, and some are here for life...but regardless, family is huge to me! Life has a way of keeping us crazy busy, so sometimes its hard to get together as much as you would like, or distance, or past circumstances.  So anyhow, Josh tells me this week that his cousin is in town and is gonna stop by on friday. Now being together for 8 1/2 yrs. i have pretty much met all the fam.  But I didnt remember ever meeting this one family member in particular.  Well me being a social butterfly I was down with hanging out, but i was also really nervous.  I get like that sometimes....I hate awkward situations, when you really dont "click" with someone, or dont know what to say....so i was nervous! Long story short, we had to best time!!!!! Michelle and Lee were soooooo cool! We talked for hours about anything that came to mind.  We laughed, learned about each other, played rock band, even my cousin joined in the fun, it was family all around....lol!  We pretty much made a relationship that will probably stick around for life! And the best part is its FAMILY! Im really glad I got over being nervous and just enjoyed the company of a new couple!!  Just wanted to share that this morning :)  

P.S.  This was def. one of our RICHES!!!!

Our New Creation

So today i sign onto Facebook (which i do everyday b/c quite frankly Im addicted) and one of my family members had posted a link to her blog.  Naturally stalking over my coffee i checked it out and it was AMAZING!! And inspired me to want my OWN blog.  Somewhere I can post about things in my life, my family etc. Where its not "to much" to my facebook "friends" b/c you make the choice to read, it doesn't just come up on a news feed! And Im not going to lie, Im pretty excited about this.  Life is so busy these days that its hard to stay connected with the people you love.  This way, I can update family that is out of state, or has a busy work schedule. I hope I have time to update at least monthly and hope everyone enjoys the stories, pics, quotes and thoughts of our little family!
